I’ve recently been invided to rdio.com, a site where music discovering is new, fast, and simple.

The layout is elegant, fast, and fun to browse through.

Rdio devs have also created a mac-based version that will calculate what type of songs you like through your iTunes library.

Unique feature- You can add a “queue” of songs you would like to listen to in the future.

It has also added a “follow me feature”, like every other website these days. This is based on what you listen to as well.

The only downside to this service is that it is $9.99 a month but you start off with a 3 day trial.

Overall, a nice way to enjoy new music but a bit pricey. Yes, there is a web version for $5, but I would stick to last.fm for finding new music- socially at least.

If you would like an invite, post a comment and i’ll email it to you.

This is an unofficial release of Pwnage Tool 3.1.5. It is modified with Cydia for iOS 4.0 and for the iOS 4.0 firmware. With that said, I am not responsible for any damages to your phone by using this software. This software is NOT verified by the official iPhone Dev Team.

With that said, It is just modified with my tutorial I posted a couple of days ago. To jailbreak iPhone 3GS with iOS 4.0, your 3GS must be running 3.1.3 and then upgrade it to the modified 4.0 firmware. This download will be taken down if requested but until then, happy jailbreaking.

Note: There is a file embedded within this post, please visit this post to download the file.

This has been modified by myself personally using the official 3.1.5 PwnageTool from the DevTeam. The modified files came from msft.guy and the beta redsn0w app. I can assure you I have NOT did any other modifications other than the ones located in this tutorial. Please make sure if you download it elsewhere to check the SHA1 of this version with these numbers below.

Paprika App is a text-based organization website to keep track of, well, anything. It comes in a nice elegant interface and can manage to-do’s, things needed, and basically anything that has to do with lists.

The app is easy to manage and organizes your organized thoughts for easy access and later usage. Editing a project is quick and makes you want to touch your monitor.

When editing a new project, creating lists and tags are so, simple it’s like stealing candy. It automatically generates lists with just a dash as you would in notes or perhaps a shopping list. When you go back to the project, you can check it off and even add dates if you’d like.

Organizing and creating to-do list hasn’t been more “free” and sexier since the iPhone. Unfortunately, they don’t have an iPhone app (or web app) and is still in beta but here are some invites to the first come first reads.

This is possible by modifing the current version of Pwnage Tool (3.1.5) to allow it to patch a custom firmware for iOS 4.0 (8A293b) for 3GS. The bundle was created by msft.guy. I am not responsible if you screw up your iPhone or computer by following these steps.

Things needed
PwnageTool 3.1.5 DevTeam
RedSn0w 0.9.5b4 DevTeam
iPhone2,1_4.0_8A293b_bundle.bundle msft.guy
iPhone2,1_4.0_8A293_Restore.ispw Apple

1. Modify PwnageTool
Unextract the bundle bundle and set it aside. Right click on PwnageTool.app –> Show Package Contents then navigate to Contents > Resources > FirmwareBundles and copy iPhone2,1_4.0_8A293_bundle.bundle inside of it.

2. Update Cydia
You gotta update Cydia to a 4.0 compatible version. To do this, Right click on redsn0w.app –> Show Package Contents then navigate to Contents > MacOS and unextract Cydia.tar.gz.

Go back to the PwnageTool.app contents and navigate to Contents > Resources > CustomPackages and right click on CydiaInstaller.bundle –> Show Package Contents. Copy and replace the extracted files from redsn0w.app into the CydiaInstaller.bundle. Make sure the files are replaced and not just copied over.

Now just create a custom firmware with the modified PwnageTool, put your iPhone into recovery mode, restore it.

Finally here and since a jailbreak is long before to come out, I upgraded. I made a video that goes over certain key features such as folders, multitask, and how multitask works.

Here are some other notable stuff that I’ve been playing around with:

1. App proccessing is fast
For multitasking, I can zoom in and out of apps like there’s no tomorrow.

2. Wallpaper unlock/lock is just as iPad locking/unlocking

3. Folders is maxed out at 12 apps per folder

BUGS in OS 4.0 (8A230m)
Text Message Sending jerks up and down while sending a text message. Somewhat annoying but manageable for now.

I haven’t gone in-depth into looking into the new features of OS 4.0, just the main basic apps. Game Center is somewhat dead since no one is using the APIs at the moment and none of my friends have OS 4.0 to integrate with. Other than that, OS 4.0 kicks ass. Enjoy the screenshots

Folders App

“End Process” on MultiTasking

“Line”?

New Features in the Photo App

New iTunes look for albums

One thing I don’t understand is that my iPhone no longer backs up. I get this error while my phone is plugged in. Maybe it’s my computer or maybe the dev-preview of 4.0 means no backup for now. Hopefully it will be fixed, just in case something goes wrong.
