AT&T Money Hungry

So last month i’ve finally decided to cancel my AT&T service…why? Failure customer support, overpaying for nothing, all in all bad day.

So I go to our local mall and talk to the sales rep for AT&T. Everything was fine, I told him the only reason I was with AT&T was for the iphone (figures) and that it was just too costly (87$ a month, lowest amount of internet + unlimited texting)- even with a 15% discount 87$ a month for a single cell phone is ridiculous. I wanted to cancel it right then and there but the guy insisted on saying and gave me a phone upgrade. A day later, I return the phone saying it’s one big POS and still charged me an additional 20$ for restocking the pos returned phone.

Now that I’ve canceled everything, I paid my last bill off in full and I’m finally out of AT&T’s contact. After paying 175$ + an additional 18$ for an upgrade (funny huh? terminating and upgrading my phone at the same time) I no longer have to deal with a company’s failed customer service.

We all know AT&T is only good because they’re the only official US iphone carrier. Take the easy way out, drop AT&T, jailbreak your phone, and go somewhere else. It’s cheaper, you can do a lot more, and you won’t have to deal with AT&T.
