Trip to New York

No class this week of Feb, so I’ve decided to take a personal trip to New York for the week. The weather? Cold. Very cold. I’ve stayed the week their at the Paramount Hotel, right at the heart of Times Square. For a quick heads up, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR ANYONE. Although the beds were comfortable, there was an annoying sound EVERY MORNING for the week from about 7:00 AM ~ 11:00 AM. After 3 days of uncomfortable sleep, I’ve finally asked the receptionist to move my room and everything was fine for a while but in the slight distant, the noise was still ringing. I couldn’t take it anymore and cut my trip short there, yet, they still charged me for the whole week…

Before continuing; Sorry for the small images, these images are straight from my Facebook page since this post is being created late.

Itinerary
So first trip 2000 miles away from home, alone. In New York. What to do? Well, at first you’d think New York is the “city that never sleeps”, but, extremely wrong. I was expecting a night city filled with open stores everywhere, however, was disappointed  with closed stores and Dwane Reades everywhere (a typical 7-11 typeconvenience store).

After a while, I started up my hike towards 5th Street and down Broadway. I was pretty stoked about all the nice stores they had and how clean it looked as well.

Juicy Store.

No NY Trip is complete without visiting their famous Apple Store.

All in all, the trip was fun. I’ve got to see tons of new things, walk around places, ride the subway, ride the taxi (which i’ve never experienced until now) and party while i was there to.
