Proxy Update

So I got this email last night.

Unfortunately, I no longer use tmobile as my service because my job depends on me actually having signal to talk to people through my phone. I have set up two different sites with the same exact proxies so for all you iphone tmobiliers, let me know if they work.

Sharing MacBook Internet Connection with Xbox 360

This tutorial will show you how to share your MacBook’s WiFi connection the RIGHT way with your Xbox 360. First and foremost, make sure you are connected to the internet via your Airport through your mac and an ethernet wire is connected from your xbox to your macbook.

ON MACBOOK

1. Go to System Preferences and go to Sharing

2. Enable INTERNET SHARING to your ethernet

3. Navigate back to system Preferences and go to Network

4. Go to Ethernet, Manually enter IP, and enter the following (note, my wire is disconnected)
IP: 10.0.0.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0

5. Click apply, then click and highlight “AirPort”, press Advanced and tick TCP/IP

Write YOUR NUMBER down that you see in “Router:”

ON XBOX 360

1. In your dashboard, go to System

2. Navigate to Network Settings -> Edit Settings – > IP Settings – > Manual
and modify the following to:
IP Address: 10.0.0.2
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 10.0.0.1

3. Navigate to DNS Settings and enter the NUMBER YOU WRITTEN DOWN IN STEP 5 during the macbook setup section.

Save all settings and test your xbox connection- you should be sharing internet with your macbook now!

Rdio App – Discovering New Music

I’ve recently been invided to rdio.com, a site where music discovering is new, fast, and simple.

The layout is elegant, fast, and fun to browse through.

Rdio devs have also created a mac-based version that will calculate what type of songs you like through your iTunes library.

Unique feature- You can add a “queue” of songs you would like to listen to in the future.

It has also added a “follow me feature”, like every other website these days. This is based on what you listen to as well.

The only downside to this service is that it is $9.99 a month but you start off with a 3 day trial.

Overall, a nice way to enjoy new music but a bit pricey. Yes, there is a web version for $5, but I would stick to last.fm for finding new music- socially at least.

If you would like an invite, post a comment and i’ll email it to you.

New Orleans Day 3

To finish off our last day in New Orleans, we decided to visit some authentic seafood bars.

Acme Oyster Bar always has a line so we stopped by Felix’s, right in front of Acme’s.

Talk about good oysters….This one was a beast

My buddy Matt

Before leaving, a quick stop to Cafe Beignet

I’d have to say, Cafe Beignet’s Beignet were so much better than Cafe Du Mondes- So good, I forgot to talk a picture. So if you’re ever in New Orleans, visit Cafe Beignet and grab a beignet.

Leaving New Orleans, we took a quick Pit Stop at the Mississippi Welcome Center.

This is probably the coolest rest area i’ve ever stopped at…

The Lunar Lander monument that is visible from the highway

Under it

The best part has yet to come…As I was pulling out of the welcome center, a local peanut stand was on the other side of the road- basically in the middle of traffic!

We grabbed some cajun peanuts for the trip back home

Nothing like local foods…These were the best damn peanuts ever.

So if you ever decide to stop by Mississippi’s welcome center, there should be a peanut lady right in front of the exit of the welcome center. A nice, cheap way to snack on something delicious.

New Orleans is a sweet place everyone should visit once. I would describe it as the Las Vegas plus Los Angeles of the south. Bourbon Street is always fun to visit but I probably would not be able to handle it for more than a week. Other than that, this weekend is perfect. Hand grenades, seafood, tool, boobs and beads create the perfect weekend.

New Orleans Day 2

Had breakfast at Cafe Du Monde. Asked the waitress for the menu and she turned around the napkin dispenser- all they had were beignets, coffee, and juice. A beignet is basically a fried doughnut with powdered sugar on it. It is extremely delicious and addictive.

The kitchen of Cafe Du Monde- A bit crowded and clustered but they get their jobs done

New Orleans Day 1

So 6 hour drive from Auburn to New Orleans was well worth it. Arriving at about 7:00 Central, we had dinner at the Redfish Grill right on Bourbon street. Their oysters, raw and bbq’d, amazing. After dinner, we walked through the greatest street on the south east and the rest is history…

Pwnage Tool 3.1.5 Modified

This is an unofficial release of Pwnage Tool 3.1.5. It is modified with Cydia for iOS 4.0 and for the iOS 4.0 firmware. With that said, I am not responsible for any damages to your phone by using this software. This software is NOT verified by the official iPhone Dev Team.

With that said, It is just modified with my tutorial I posted a couple of days ago. To jailbreak iPhone 3GS with iOS 4.0, your 3GS must be running 3.1.3 and then upgrade it to the modified 4.0 firmware. This download will be taken down if requested but until then, happy jailbreaking.

  PwnageTool 3.1.5 Modified (15.2 MiB, 189 hits)

This has been modified by myself personally using the official 3.1.5 PwnageTool from the DevTeam. The modified files came from msft.guy and the beta redsn0w app. I can assure you I have NOT did any other modifications other than the ones located in this tutorial. Please make sure if you download it elsewhere to check the SHA1 of this version with these numbers below.
